Hi! I'm Jade, the artist behind Jade Allana Art. 

Every piece you see here is designed, hand-carved, and hand-printed by me using traditional linocut techniques. I’ve always loved the slow, hands-on nature of printmaking, it allows me to capture the details and atmosphere of the places that inspire me.

I graduated from Gray’s School of Art in 2014 with a degree in Printmaking, where I discovered a passion for capturing Place. Aberdeen’s historic architecture really caught my eye and wanted to highlight its charm in contrast to the "grey" and "dull" label it often gets. Through my work, I aim to change that perception — adding colour, character, and warmth to the places that often get overlooked.

That fascination with architecture has stayed with me. Not just at home, but in the places I’ve visited while travelling. Whether it’s a quiet street in Aberdeen or a sun-washed building in Budapest, I’m always taking in the shapes, textures, and stories held in the walls around us.
