Original Hand Carved Lino Print - Castle Street Aberdeen

This original lino print is printed using the jigsaw printing method, where a lino block is cut into individual blocks or shapes. These blocks or shapes are then individually inked in different colours. The "jigsaw" is then put together and printed. A block with the detail is then printed over the coloured print. 

This particular print is printed using mixed green, pink and orange on light blue paper. The final detail block in purple.

Hand-carved and hand-printed by me, using Caligo Safewash inks. Each print is a slow, mindful process from start to finish. The result is a carefully crafted artwork full of texture and charm.

In a window mount and ready to frame. Will fit a 11 x 14 inch frame.
